After several intensive weeks dedicated to commissioning our new research laboratories, the ISC Konstanz team took a well-deserved break to enjoy this year’s company outing.

The ISC Konstanz team during the company outing in Meersburg – a well-deserved day to recharge after weeks of commissioning the new research laboratories before work continues on the new research infrastructure.
Travelling by boat across Lake Constance to the historic town of Meersburg, the team explored the medieval castle, shared lunch in a traditional tavern and visited the VINEUM museum, followed by a local wine tasting—or simply an ice cream by the lake.
The outing provided an opportunity to strengthen personal connections and recharge after an exciting and demanding period. Behind every research project and technological breakthrough stands a dedicated team working towards a common goal.
The commitment of our colleagues was evident even on this special day: while most of the team enjoyed the outing, two colleagues remained in the laboratory to continue commissioning work, helping ensure that our industrial partners will soon be able to resume development and processing on our new research infrastructure.
The new laboratory represents an important milestone for ISC Konstanz and for photovoltaic research in Europe. If you would like to support our mission, donations help us expand state-of-the-art research facilities and accelerate the transfer of innovation into industrial application.
A sincere thank you to the entire ISC team for your dedication—and for helping drive the energy transition every single day.
