ISC Konstanz and U.S. solar cell manufacturer Suniva have extended their cooperation to further strengthen photovoltaic manufacturing in the United States.
Following a successful first phase of collaboration, which started in March 2025, ISC Konstanz will continue to support Suniva’s 1 GW PERC solar cell production in Georgia, USA. ISC experts are working together with the Suniva team on improving cell efficiency, production yield and throughput, as well as evaluating potential technology and equipment upgrades.
The cooperation combines ISC Konstanz’s expertise in industrial solar cell technology and production optimization with Suniva’s experience as a U.S. manufacturer of high-efficiency crystalline silicon solar cells. The extended collaboration also highlights the role of German photovoltaic technology, equipment and know-how in establishing resilient solar manufacturing supply chains in the United States.

“We are proud to extend our cooperation with Suniva. This long-term agreement highlights the strength of transatlantic partnerships and underlines the importance of German equipment and expertise for building a resilient U.S. solar supply chain,” says Lejo Joseph, Project Manager at ISC Konstanz.
