We are one step closer to our new building: thanks to the Crescere Foundation Lake Constance. We are very grateful for the donation of 50,000 euros. It comes at just the right time: we expect to receive planning permission shortly and then we can get started.

Founded in 2021, the Crescere Foundation Lake Constance promotes science and research as well as education and social projects in the Lake Constance district. “We became aware of the ISC Konstanz and the planned new building through the media. The work of the institute is important and in the spirit of the technology-enthusiastic founder Thomas Seger, who wanted to help people and ideas to grow. That’s why we decided to support this project,” says Wolfgang Münst, Chairman of the Foundation.

Our fundraising campaign is picking up speed – the Crescere Foundation has now become part of the community of supporters.

A banner with an appeal for donations (isc-konstanz.de/en/donations) hangs on a hall behind four men. The men are sitting on a scaffolding.

A banner hangs on the hall on the new ISC Konstanz site in Rudolf-Diesel-Straße. So that all passers-by know what is being built here and that they can contribute to it. From left: Rudolf Harney, Dr. Tudor Timofte, Franz Reichenbach and Dr. Kristian Peter (Spokesman of the Board of ISC Konstanz).

The first construction phase is due to start soon: Laboratories will be integrated into the hall located on the neighboring property in a simple and cost-effective construction method. The renovation of the existing research center can then begin quickly. New buildings will then be constructed in the next phases as soon as sufficient funds have been raised. Further donors are therefore very welcome, please find out more here or write to us.
