Dear PV friends,

We are pleased to announce the upcoming M&M Workshop 23/24 October 2025 — a unique platform where politics, industry, and research come together to shape the future of photovoltaics in the European Union. This event provides a valuable opportunity to discuss innovative developments in n-type tech, with the focus on BC technology, which has already been successfully advanced through various EU projects. Our joint efforts aim to accelerate PV production in the EU to support a sustainable and independent energy supply.
Engaging with leading representatives from politics, industry—including machinery, materials, and manufacturing sectors—and R&D institutions is essential to set the right course for a successful energy future. Additionally, we will connect with partners from the US and India, as the global energy transition is a collective effort requiring international collaboration.
I am confident that this workshop will significantly contribute to accelerating the development and dissemination of our innovative BC technologies, driving Europe’s energy transition and strengthening its position in the global PV market.

Prior the workshop, October 22, we will host the Advisory Board Meeting of ISC Konstanz and October 23 in the evening we will celebrate 20 years of ISC Konstanz at our institute. We also take the opportunity to offer deeper technical presentation about our large EU Project IBC4EU and run training sessions regarding hands on PV production in our cell and module pilot lines.

We are looking forward to welcoming you end October 2025 in Konstanz.
