ISC Konstanz is delighted to announce an important technical upgrade for its new research centre: halm elektronik has donated an upgrade for the existing module flasher.
With the upgrade, we can now measure large-format photovoltaic modules up to 1.60 × 2.60 m. In addition, the illuminance can be flexibly adjusted between 200 and 1,300 W/m². This allows both low-light behaviour and behaviour under very high irradiation to be investigated – a decisive step in the characterisation of modern PV modules.

halm and ISC Konstanz have been working closely together for many years, including on joint research projects to improve cell and module characterisation. In its laboratory operations, ISC relies on halm measurement systems for cell and module measurements.
Back in December 2023, halm supported the expansion of ISC Konstanz with a donation of €50,000. The current upgrade is thus another strong sign of the long-standing and trusting partnership. Thank you very much!
