Hello, my name is Arthur Silber, I am 17 years old and I have completed a one-week internship at ISC Konstanz, as my interests lie in chemistry, physics and renewable sources of energy.

During my internship, I was given a chance to learn about many steps in the development of solar cells - starting with cleaning the wafers and finishing with quality control. The research institute's experts supervised me, always ready to answer my technical questions. I was trusted with a number of varying tasks, ranging from screen printing the wafers to the characterisation of solar cells.

All in all, my internship was a great experience. The researchers at ISC Konstanz are motivated, friendly and helpful, which creates a great working atmosphere. This internship has given me important insights and facilitated choosing my course of study as well as the fields I might work in after college.
