Hello, my name is Arthur Silber, I am 17 years old and I have completed a one-week-long internship at the ISC Konstanz. My interests are chemistry, physics as well as renewable sources of energy.

During my internship I was given a chance to learn many aspects of the solar cell - starting from cleaning the wafers and finishing with quality control. I was supervised by the experts of the research institute, who were always there for me to answer my technical inquiries. I was trusted to conduct a number of tasks, ranging from screen-printing the wafers, to characterisation of solar cells.

All in all, my internship was a great experience. The researchers in the ISC Konstanz are motivated, friendly and helpful, which creates an agreeable working atmosphere. This internship has given me important insights and facilitated the choice of my subject of study and future work orientation.
