Peter Hering, born 1982 in Leonberg, studied mechanical engineering with specialization:Construction and Development, further specialization on Energy Technology at HTWG Konstanz. His bachelor thesis at MAN TURBO AG in Zurich was written on optimizing high-speed couplings with computational fluid dynamics. Shortly thereafter followed the Masters degree at mechatronics and Peter attained a specialization in electromagnetic actors. In the process he was able to enhance a new concept for propotional magnets at ZF Friedrichshafen. Since June 2010 Peter Hering is employeed at ISC Konstanz and working on development of characterization systems.
