Dipl. Ing. Pedro Díaz-Pérez

Pedro E. Díaz Pérez comes from Venezuela and was a recipient of a prestigious Venezuelan scholarschip "Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho" for his  Engineering studies in Germany. He received his graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a specialisation in Structural Design and Calculation from the University of Applied Sciences in Konstanz and Lübeck.

Pedro E. Díaz Pérez has completed his postgraduate training and is certified as an engineer of welding (part 1), as well as CAD specialist and Photovoltaic specialist.

He had been working as a structural engineer until he decided to take up a new professional challenge and joined the Photovoltaic Department of the Faculty of Solid-State Physics at the University of Konstanz in 2002. Among other things, he was responsible for the production and characterisation of the industrial or industry-oriented solar cells, purchase of the chemicals as well as for the disposal of the chemical waste. In addition, Pedro E. Díaz Pérez supervised a number of doctoral and postgraduate research students.

Since 2008, Pedro E. Díaz Pérez is emplayed at the ISC Konstanz. He has interest in environmental protection and politics in Latin America.
