Julian Wurst was born in 1988 in Ostfildern. Graduating from Heinrich-Heine high school in 2008 he started a voluntary year of social service in Stuttgart. After that he moved to Konstanz to start the studies of economic science. Since July 2011 Julian Wurst is an intern at ISC Konstanz, learning the art of office administration.
