Born in 1985 in Moshi, Tanzania Joachim Ranzmeyer studied physical technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Coburg and graduated as engineer in 2009. He already gathered first professional experience in photovoltaic at the Bavarian Centre of Applied Energy Research e.V. in Erlangen and SCHOTT Solar AG in Alzenau during his studies. After graduation he started to work at the centrotherm photovoltaics AG in Blaubeuren.
Starting from the winter term 2010/2011 Joachim is a graduate physics student at the University of Konstanz. He joined the team of ISC Konstanz at the beginning of 2011 as a student assistant. His tasks mainly include solar cell characterization processes.
