Jens Theobald

Born 1981 in Göttingen, Jens Theobald studied industrial engineering and management in Heidelberg and obtained his diploma (FH) in 2003. During his studies, he was focused on logistic optimisation and quality management. Subsequently, he used to work on a logistics project at the ZF Friedrichshafen AG.

From early 2004 to early 2008, he has been studying Mechanical Engineering as a second major with a focus on construction, development, and power engineering. He wrote his Bachelor thesis at the ISC Konstanz. In his thesis, Jens Theobald focused on the sintering process. Moreover, his work presents the concepts for the energetically optimal utilization of machines in research institutions.

After half a year as a process engineer at ISC Konstanz he started a master degree course (M.Sc) in Stuttgart with the main topic "sustainable energy competence" in Stuttgart. This course was mainly extra-occupational and was finished successfully in September 2010. His thesis was about programming of the operation software of a degradation- , annealing- and regeneration labtool.

Now still at the ISC Konstanz he works for different metallization projects, supervises the firing furnace, laser, inline diffusion furnace and a degradation labtool. He is responsible for all laser and screen printing processes which require alignment. Furthermore he takes care of some small projects from different fields.
