RA Florian Keller, MBA, MM - Managing Director Research Administration

Florian Keller grew up in Karlsruhe and first took up piano and viola studies at the Freiburg Academy of Music.
Eventually, his passion for sophisticated texts printed on India paper made him switch to studying law at the universities in Freiburg, Braga (Portugal) and Berlin (Humboldt University), where he also sat his both state examinations.
After studying in extra occupational postgraduate programmes, he obtained a Master's degree in mediation from the FernUniversität in Hagen, as well as an MBA degree awarded by both the Berlin School of Economics and Law and the Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge (UK). He holds membership in the Freiburg Bar Association and has successfully completed a qualifying course in tax law at the Deutsches Anwaltsinstitut (DAI).
From 2005 to 2009, Florian Keller worked for the Freiburger Barockorchester GbR, where he systematised the contract management, guided the process of reviding the Articles of Association and looked after non-profit status issues of the orchestra's patrons association.
As of January 2010, he holds the position of Head of Research Administration at the ISC Konstanz. Working together with Vera Antritter, Sabine Gloger, Liina Laks, Angela Schellinger, and Nicola Voigt, he is primarily responsible for controlling, legal and tax issues, human resources and fundraising.
In his free time, he enjoys playing the above-mentioned musical instruments and table tennis. He also is a passionate cook.
