Enrique Cabrera

Enrique Cabrera was born in Santiago de Chile in 1984. In January 2009 he graduated from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile where he studied electrical engineering with a specialization in electrical power systems. Subject of his thesis was "Simulation of three-phase induction motors with balanced, non-sinusoidal voltages".
As part of an internship at the electrical company Endesa Chile in 2006, he worked on the analysis of a high voltage electrical system.
An internship that he completed at AMEC-Cade in February 2007 dealt with the planning and calculation of a new power line in southern Chile.
Enrique Cabrera studied for two semesters at the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule (RWTH) in Aachen as a DAAD scholarship holder. During this time, he participated in numerous seminars, tutorials, and field trips dealing with renewable energy.
Since August 2009, he is a PhD student in the field of silicon solar cells at the ISC Konstanz.
