Angela Schellinger

Angela Schellinger-Steffel, born in Hamburg, finished high school in Konstanz in 1960 with the German Economic Abitur.
She participated in exchange programs with France (for 2 months) and England (1.5 years). From 1960 to 1962, she studied at Sprachen und Dolmetscher Institut München, where she specialized in English and French. She used to be a student trainee at the Federal State Central Bank (LZB) in Konstanz.

From 1963 to 1987, Angela Schellinger-Steffel was on parental leave. During this time, she attended the "Inlingua" foreign language school in Konstanz. She is the mother of two daughters and meanwhile a proud grandmother of two grandchildren. In addition, she worked as a self-employed saleswoman for eight years.

From 1987 to 2006, she worked as foreign language assistant at the Chair of Prof. Dr. Ernst Bucher at the Faculty of Physics at the University of Konstanz. She continued her professional training by attending several courses in management, rhetorics, and organisation.
As of January 2006, Angela Schellinger decided to leave the University of Konstanz in order to participate in the foundation of the ISC Konstanz.
