Dr. Andreas Schneider![]() Dr. Andreas Schneider obtained his Diploma in Physics from the University of Freiburg in 1999. He wrote his PhD thesis about crystalline silicon solar cells at Professor Ernst Bucher's Chair of Applied Solid State Physics at the University of Konstanz in 2004. Subsequently working as team leader from 2004 to 2005, Dr. Schneider was responsible for the development of crystalline silicon solar cells at the University of Konstanz. From 2005, he was working for the Canadian company Day4Energy in Vancouver as head of the development department. In 2008, he established a quality management department and was its director until 2011, being responsible for the quality of internally and externally produced solar panels. With the beginning of 2011, Dr. Schneider changed to the American company Jabil, which produces solar panels in Mexico and Poland for several wholesale customers. There, he held the position of Advanced Engineering Manager and was responsible for the scientific supervision of the solar cells and panels produced. Since October 2011, Dr. Schneider is employed at ISC Konstanz as Leading Scientist. He is heading the group Solar Panels in the department Industrial Solar Cells. Kontakt |
