Dipl. Phys. Andreas Halm

Andreas Halm studied Physics at the University of Konstanz. He obtained his degree in the area of Nanomechanics and -optics in the group of Prof. Leitenstorfer. Subsequently, he stayed for one year in Guatemala working in a project providing free medical services.

His wish to participate in PV research was fulfilled by his employment at the ISC Konstanz. Here he is working since June 2008 as a project manager on solar cells made of SoG-Silicon. The results of these studies lead to oral presentations at the 35th IEEE-PVSEC and 25th PVSEC in 2010. Since the beginning of 2010 he is also strongly involved in the development of high efficiency back contacted n-type silicon solar cells.
